When you’re hoping for word of mouth to drive a film campaign, it helps if audiences can pronounce the title. With confusion around how to say Ibiza, the team leaned into the joke. Actor Gillian Jacobs wanted to do a bit, writer-director Alex Richanbach developed the script and Blaine Zuckerman produced and directed a short social piece built around the ongoing mispronunciations. Released across talent and brand channels, the video helped turn confusion into conversation.
